Stepping lightly through the maze of my jingle jangle life. Wrong turns, right turns, your turn.
Directionless with direction, connectedness without connection. Think I just saw another sign go by.

Been a long long time...........
It's Monday morning and Marshall is watching the river rise. It is bringing with it a flood of memories of tender years gone by. Drizzling misty tears. River wash away my fears.

Eighty One
Eighty One birthday wishes for my dad. They all begin with I love you and be well. Your smile, your laugh, being Stan . A singular man. Your touch.
Crossword puzzles, drives through Atlanta, the Varsity, Ice cream and such.
I love you for all that and more.....very much!

Where I've Been........
Mostly here and there....although it seems mostly there. In a space between lost and found.
Turning and tumbling....tramping through.....just enough to get by, system fine. Works most of the time. Weaving in and out of traffic....dodging danger and riding with lady luck. She can be such a sweet thing. Shifting down and climbing up, swinging steady....give her a little gas. Mountain High, Joel Low....Seeds to Sew... Looking to Grow.

Songfields.....
Hi folks,
I have been ploughing through the songfields again. Sometimes, I need the words of poets and madmen. So here goes.
Nothing will ever be the same
All those promises we made seem so hollow
But there are still streets in this town
Marked with your shadow
So if you see me, look surprised
If you don't then pass me by
And I may even brush your sleeve
As you turn to leave
Now it's hard to act like strangers
When we used to be so strong
Everything is changing
And most of it is wrong
What do we know of anything?
Two fools of some renown
Either side of the same town
Somewhere, there's a light
I can sense it
Oh, though I may fall back again
Although it's a fight
I know I must Remain
Now it's hard to keep ignoring
Someone you recognise
And if I seem contented
It's only my disguise
What do we know of anything?
Two fools of some renown
Either side of the same town

Zuma Coffee supports local music ....Bobby Hicks host a Bluegrass Jam every Thursday night. Feb 6th Sam Parker is bringing in a group to swing the house and look for a Friday the 13th Art show with Eric Legge with music by The Mad Tea Party! Promises to be a rockin good time.

Making Lists
Checking them twice, maybe thrice.
Taking inventory of my life, feeling the strife.
Mine yours and ours, asking for flowers.
Time is a friend, not in the end.
Words vague and unclear, brings in the fear.
Love continues to grow, let it flow.
